Production of iron cores?
Production of iron cores?
Everyone knows that the material of the iron core is a magnetic material, but not any substance can produce magnetism, only ferromagnetic substances can produce magnetism. In nature, ferromagnetic substances have only three elements or their alloys: Fe-iron; Co-cobalt; Ni-nickel. Let's take a look at what kinds of materials are there for the production of iron cores?
1. Electrician iron Fe
2. Silicon steel (Fe Si)
3. Iron aluminum alloy (Fe Al)
4. Iron silicon aluminum alloy (Fe Si Al)
5. Iron-cobalt alloy (Fe Co)
6. Iron-nickel alloy (Fe Ni) also known as permalloy
7. Ferrite (Mn-Zn ferrite Mn-ZnFe2O4)
8. Nickel zinc ferrite Ni-ZnFe2O4)
9. Amorphous (Fe Si B)
10. Nanocrystalline (Fe Si B Cu Nb)
It can be seen that one or two or three of the above three elements are added with other metals or non-metals or rare earth elements to form other alloy magnetic materials and the like. The earliest electrical pure iron has a disadvantage is that when the iron core is used for too long, its iron loss will increase. It was later found that by adding silicon to the steel, the resistivity and maximum permeability of the iron can be increased, the coercive force can be reduced, the hysteresis and eddy current losses (iron loss) and magnetic aging can be reduced, and the time stability of the steel can be improved.
